Nine Circles provide education, the distribution of harm reduction products (including safer injection and safer crack use kits) needle distribution, free safer sex supplies and practical supports to reduce harm and transmission.

Sex, sharing needles,  and drug equipment are the primary ways that HIV and Hepatitis are transmitted.  Since very few adults will remain abstinent from sex and drugs over their lifetime, access to harm reduction supplies and accurate, relevant education is essential.

Following evidence, Nine Circles staff and volunteers distribute harm reduction supplies to clients upon request.  We are not a needle exchange and do not require that clients return supplies in order to receive new supplies.

Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Open Wednesday until 7:00 p.m.

There are drop boxes located throughout the city for people wanting to dispose of their used needles:

• Osborne Village, back lane between Osborne and Pulford, ½ block south of River Ave. With ongoing community consultation, this location was moved approximately 1½ blocks from previously identified location
• Main St. & Henry Ave. on the walkway at the northwest corner
• King St. and Sutherland Ave (west of Main St.)
• Sutherland Ave. ½ block east of Main St., close to the hotel
• Henry Ave. & Martha St.
• Good St. at Broadway Ave.
