World AIDS Day
Every year, December 1 marks World AIDS Day, a time for reflection: on what we have achieved with regard to the national and global response to HIV, and what we still must achieve. Nine Circles generally holds a fundraiser on the evening of December 1, with proceeds going to the Manitoba HIV Program:

The Scotiabank AIDS Walk Winnipeg is Nine Circles’ largest annual fundraiser and awareness raising event. Every September, Manitobans join together to show their support for people living with or affected by HIV.
For the last several years, the Winnipeg walk has started and ended in Central Park, and has included a 2km walk around the West End. An event that is fun as well as meaningful, AIDS Walk offers activities for the whole family, as well as opportunities for participants to raise awareness about HIV, and create teams to raise money among their friends, family and coworkers.
