SUMMARY:Standing Strong - Full Day Workshop
DESCRIPTION:A workshop for people living with HIV (and their supportive family or friends) who want to attend a day-long workshop with a group of people who share similar experiences. \nThis workshop will provide the basics on HIV treatment and prevention. There will also be group discussions around HIV disclosure\, stigma\, how to encourage each other and access support through the Manitoba HIV Program. \nThe workshop will consist of all 4 of the modules that make up the Standing Strong Program:\nStanding Strong: Back to Basics\nStanding Strong: A Positive Sex Life\nStanding Strong: Starting the conversation\nStanding Strong: Support through thick and thin \nThese workshops are also offered one at a time throughout the year. \nTalk to Shauna or Sri for more information or to register. \nSnacks provided.  Bus tickets available if needed.  Please speak with us if childcare is a barrier for you.
