Volunteers are an integral part of the programs and services Nine Circles provides. As a volunteer, you will support people living with HIV and contribute to prevention and education work by helping out with events and activities.
Volunteering at Nine Circles provides an opportunity to:

Board of Directors
Play a key role in developing policies and procedures and ensuring the missions, values and purpose of Nine Circles are upheld. The Nine Circles Board of Directors is a policy-based board that employs a consensus-based decision-making model. The Pit Stop (Harm Reduction Services)
Support us with daily operations tasks such as packing safer substance use and safer sex use kits, donation sorting, and outreach efforts. Must have availability between the hours of 9am-5pm. Click here for a full description of our Pit Stop support position.
Food Bank Support
Receive, sort, and distribute food at Nine Circles’ weekly food bank, must have availability between the hours of 9am-5pm. Click here for a full description of our food bank support position.
Community Engagement
(Formally known as Special Events and Fundraising) Support event planning (e.g. A Taste for Life, World AIDS Day, Canva Team, Ribbon Reps Tabling & Events *new!), pre-event tasks, and be a part of the volunteer team on event day. You can also download a Volunteer Application Package and return it by emailing it to Community Engagement Coordinator. To submit an application in person, visit us at 705 Broadway, Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm (closed weekends and holidays). We will confirm receipt of your application and will let you know when the next volunteer intake will occur. We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those candidates selected for interviews will be contacted.
