Connection Point
Connection Point is a community gathering series hosted at Nine Circles. It offers weekly and monthly opportunities to build relationships, explore creativity, and make space for shared joy, connection, and meaning. Connection point is rooted in peer-support and guided by the needs and desires of the community.
The program was developed in response to community consultations, where participants expressed a desire for welcoming, low-pressure spaces that reduce isolation, strengthen belonging, and honour the stories, strengths, and gifts within our community. Connection Point prioritizes relationship-centered, low-barrier engagement. Activities are intentionally adaptable and continue to be shaped by participant input to ensure the space remains relevant, inclusive, and community-led.
All community members connected to Nine Circles are welcome to participate.

Current Programming:
Coffee Talks
Every Wednesday from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM in the Gathering Place
Join us for a cozy meet-up with coffee, treats, and connection. Coffee Talks is a community-led space where participants can tell stories, support one another, and celebrate the strengths within our community. Come as you are and share as much or as little as you’d like.
Creative Workshops
Last Thursday of each month, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM in the Gathering Place
Facilitated by Artbeat Studio, these workshops offer a welcoming, low-pressure space to explore creativity — no previous experience required. Participants experiment with a variety of mediums, including painting, drawing, collage, and more, discovering the healing, grounding, and connecting power of art. All supplies are provided free of cost.
Movies + Munchies
First Friday of each month at 1:00 PM in the Board Room
Our very own First Fridays! Join us for a film, delicious snacks, and great company. Come for the movie, stay for the connection.
Community Connections
Monthly outings throughout the city
Each month, we venture beyond Nine Circles to visit local cultural, recreational, and community spaces. Whether it’s The Leaf, Studio Central, the Winnipeg Art Gallery, or the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, you don’t have to go alone — you have a built-in crew. Bus tickets and admission are provided. Registration may be required for some outings.
