Program Evaluation
Nine Circles Community Health Centre is committed to regular and rigorous evaluation of our programs and services to ensure accessibility, responsiveness and quality. We are equally committed to contributing to local and regional community-based research, to understand and respond to the evolving needs of communities living with, and at risk for Sexually Transmitted and Blood Borne Infections (STBBIs).
At Nine Circles, we evaluate our programs, groups, and services to find out:
• How well are we serving client needs
• How well are we providing information and education to our clients
• If our clients are gaining new skills and access to resources
• How can we improve our programming
• We also evaluate our services to provide funders with information about how well our programs are running and serving client needs.
• We gather client feedback through methods such as workshop evaluation questionnaires, focus groups, and client services surveys.
Examples of Nine Circles program evaluations:
• 2014-2015 Client Survey Feedback Session Results
• Cooking Group Evaluation Report 2014
• Food Bank Volunteer Feedback Session 2012 Full Report
• Client Survey 2011 Full Report
Research at Nine Circles

All potential research projects are reviewed by the Nine Circles Management Team and the Nine Circles Research Committee to consider resource requirements, potential impact on clients, and relevance to the organization’s strategic plan. The Nine Circles Research Committee also works to ensure that research conducted at Nine Circles, or by agencies seeking participation from Nine Circles, supports the agency’s mandate and strategic plan. Board, staff and clients have participated in research initiatives in a variety of ways, intended to strengthen local, regional or national programs and services.
