Education Beyond the Classroom
Nine Circles offers educational sessions that provide an opportunity to talk about risk, transmission, and prevention with a trained health educator. Our Health Education team provides workshops and training to groups as well as one-on-one sessions.
Community Education Program
Organizations can host a health educator to present on HIV, Sexually Transmitted Infections, overdose prevention/Naloxone administration, Hepatitis C and other blood-borne infections (STBBIs) for groups of 5 to 50. Our Community Education Program offers 90-minute presentations that are:
- Client-centred to increase openness and knowledge around STBBI prevention
- Sex-positive and harm reduction based
- Community-friendly and interactive
We can also tailor a workshop to meet the needs of your community.

Busting HIV Myths Video
In the summer 2017, Nine Circles shot a video for the show Winnipeg Talks on SHAW TV. The video is an adaptation of our HIV 101 community training. It takes on four common HIV myths and dispels them using simple facts and recent HIV statistics for Manitoba.
