Standing Strong – Full Day Workshop

A workshop for people living with HIV (and their supportive family or friends) who want to attend a day-long workshop with a group of people who share similar experiences.
This workshop will provide the basics on HIV treatment and prevention. There will also be group discussions around HIV disclosure, stigma, how to encourage each other and access support through the Manitoba HIV Program.
The workshop will consist of all 4 of the modules that make up the Standing Strong Program:
Standing Strong: Back to Basics
Standing Strong: A Positive Sex Life
Standing Strong: Starting the conversation
Standing Strong: Support through thick and thin
These workshops are also offered one at a time throughout the year.
