Volunteers are an integral part of the programs and services Nine Circles provides. As a volunteer, you will support people impacted or living with HIV-STBBI’s and contribute to prevention and education work by helping out with events and activities.
Volunteering at Nine Circles provides an opportunity to:
- Share and develop new skills and knowledge
- Participate in ongoing education and training
- Gain valuable work experience/references
- Get to know new people and communities
- Receive free tickets to local events, appreciation gift cards, personalized thank yous, and free snacks!
- Share your life experience as an HIV+ person

The Pit Stop (Harm Reduction Services)
Support us with daily operations tasks such as packing safer substance use and safer sex use kits, donation sorting, and community support efforts. Must have availability between the hours of 9am-5pm. Click here for a full description of our Pit Stop support position.
Food Bank Support
Receive, sort, and distribute food at Nine Circles’ bi-monthly food bank, must have availability between the hours of 9am-5pm. Click here for a full description of our food bank support position.
Special Events/Ribbon Reps
Support event planning (e.g. A Taste for Life, World AIDS Day, etc.), pre-event tasks, fundraising, and be a part of the volunteer team on event day. Ribbon Reps are volunteers that table at conferences, festivals, and public events to engage the community around health promotion and learn more about Nine Circles.
